Questions

Frequently asked

The things people ask us most. If yours isn't here, write to us and we'll answer.

What are the prints made of?

We print with pigment inks rather than dye, on acid-free, pH-neutral stock that meets the ISO 11108 archival standard. Our finest paper tier is cotton rag. The canvas is free of optical brighteners, so the whites stay true instead of yellowing.

Where are the prints made?

In the United States. Each piece is printed to order at a professional fine art print house, then packed and shipped to you. Nothing is drop-shipped from overseas.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Not yet. We ship within the United States only for now.

How long does an order take?

Fine art prints take 3 to 7 business days to produce, and framed prints take 5 to 10 business days. Carrier transit is on top of that. You get a tracking number once your print ships.

What sizes can I order?

Sizes run from 5 by 7 inches up to 24 by 36 inches, depending on the piece. The exact sizes and prices for each artwork are listed on its own page.

Can I have my print framed?

Yes. You can add a frame at checkout, with options in matte black and white, wood tones, float frames, and ornate gold. You can also add a mat or torn edge border and framing grade acrylic glass. Framing changes the price, and the total updates as you choose.

Can I return a print?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, as long as it is unused and repacked well. A flat return shipping fee comes out of the refund: $8 for an unframed print, $40 for a framed print up to 30 by 30 inches, and $199 for larger framed work. Very large framed pieces are handled case by case.

What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?

Email us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the shipping box, the packing, and the problem. We will repair, replace, or refund it, and we will not charge you return shipping for our mistake or for carrier damage.

How quickly do you reply?

Within 48 business hours. It is a small shop, so the person answering is one of us, not a call center.

How should I care for my print?

Hang it indoors and out of direct sunlight, and keep it away from steam and high humidity. Dust it with a soft dry cloth. If it is behind glass, spray glass cleaner on the cloth rather than on the glass.
